...where alternative materials create a fantastic and original range; rubber is used to create handbags, jewellery, lamps and vases in bold colours and designs; recycled fashion images, dress patterns, CD's and records are laminated in plastic to make up the magazine bag collection; glass, liquid and silver are just a few of the materials forming the jewellery and cufflink selection; most recently juice cartons have been used to create a range of stunning handbags and cosmetic cases.
Humour is also central to the Octopus range; brightly coloured duck feather dusters and matching pens to liven up those boring chores, rubber animal 'Gloutons' hold tea towels in their mouths; funny face purses with snap open mouths also cause much amusement amongst customers.
In addition to the unique and humorous nature of the product, Octopus has a range of more conservative and practical pieces; simple nylon shoulder bags in a range of formal colours are ideal both for work and play; terracotta pots with steel stemmed trees provide an original way to display photographs; nail clippers in the shape of bugs to entertain children; brightly painted pocket mirrors are always useful in your bag.
